Indonesia is a vast and sprawling country that comprised of a total of 17,508 islands and extending up to 5,150-kilo meters in length. With deserted island on remote places across Indonesia, making it a perfect choice for travelers who are looking for a Robinson Crusoe-style adventure. And with the launched of Prana by Atzaro on the Indonesian seas, your wishes of visiting these remote islands are just a step closer.

Launched in September of this year, Prana is created and operated by Ibiza-based luxury hospitality group Atzaro. Known for providing their guests with the most beautiful and luxurious spa hotel on the Balearic Island, they are now expanding their brand by building a luxurious Phinisi boat that offers the chance to experience the stunning natural beauty of Indonesia’s marine park.

Prana is 55 meters in length, making it the largest Phinisi yacht in Indonesia by volume and was constructed of ironwood and teak using time-honored techniques. The two-masted Phinisi yacht took 21 months to complete and expertly handcrafted in Bira, Sulawesi. If you’re wondering what a Phinisi is, a Phinisi is a traditional Indonesian two-masted sailing ship that was originally built by the Konjo Tribe in South Sulawesi. Its main purpose is for transportation, cargo, and fishing purposes and it is still widely used in the region. In 2017, UNESCO recognized the Phinisi boat as an Intangible Cultural Heritage that we must preserves.

Although the construction of this yacht is still using an ancient tradition, the inside is designed with the utmost luxury. Prana by Atzaro offers guest space and comfort in nine elegant suites over four decks that can bring a total of 18 guests, each with their own private en-suite bathrooms. Fully soundproofed, the suites are decorated with sumptuous vintage fabrics and contemporary linens in a sophisticated palette. Prana offers more space of comfort than any other Phinisi, with all the super deluxe mod cons of a lavish five-star hotel.

In addition to all the nice facilities stated above, this yacht also provides guests with every amenity they can imagine. Start your day with yoga at the boat’s yoga deck that also doubles as an open-air cinema. Or, enjoy the feeling of relaxation at their onboard luxury spa. With oversized gangways and spacious decks with king-size daybeds, this boat offers abundant places to retreat and relax while enjoying the unrestricted views of the ocean.

On the main deck, there is a spacious portside VIP stateroom with a widescreen TV, a desk and sizeable day bed beside the windows. A spa room is placed behind while the galley takes up to starboard side. Amidships is the formal dining room, which seats up to 14 guests on the starboard side. Opposite, the lounge is fitted with an extensive corner as well as a coffee table and additional seating along the aft wall.

Offering a seamless experience to all guests, this 18-man crew superyacht will make sure that every need is met with the highest service. With fine dining, unlimited water sports, onboard spa treatments, unforgettable diving, and the chance to visit some of the world’s most beautiful heritage sites, Prana by Atzaro encapsulates a perfect unison between ancient craftsmanship and contemporary luxury.

The cuisine onboard, carefully created by the yacht’s chef, includes both Asian Fusion and Western dishes. Everything is made from the freshest, local ingredients and served by staff alfresco under the stars or at the air-conditioned onboard dining room. After dinner, guests can take up the opportunity to relax at the open-air cinema or gazed out looking at the stars above.

Moored in Indonesia, a voyage on Prana is a once in a lifetime experience, with the opportunity to explore one of the world’s most exquisite coral reefs at Komodo Natural Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or visit the prehistoric caves and primordial tribes on the 1500 islands that make up Raja Ampat. Voyages crisscross the Coral Triangle famed for its fantastic reefs and plethora of species as well as some of the most remote and untouched islands on earth.

Learn to scuba dive with Prana’s resident dive instructor or take a leisurely drift snorkel across volcanic vents. Alternatively, launch sea kayaks and paddle boards to explore the jungle-draped coastlines or get your thrills wake-boarding and water-skiing around the calmest lagoons. Fishing equipment is also supplied along with towable floats for effortless fun.

Prana sails all year round but the destinations depend on the season and the winds. Prana sails to Komodo from May to October, the Banda Islands in October and in April and Raja Ampat from December to April. The yacht can be chartered for private weddings and is perfect for honeymooners. Prices are all-inclusive and include all meals and snacks, laundry, and Internet as well as watersports, diving, and excursion fees.
