Established in 2013, MEJA finally reopened its doors with a complete new look and exciting casual dining experience, fitting for individuals looking for a great dining experience along the famous; “Eat Street” of Seminyak. The Island Chic ambiance uplifts your mood while enjoying rebel Chef Ruston’s interpretation of authentic Indonesian kitchen.
Experience Indonesian cuisine tour de force as Chef Ruston takes you around the Indonesian archipelago and their kitchens. Indonesia consists of 5 main islands and thousands of provinces that have distinct metropolitan and street food flavors and techniques. Our food will be your window to Indonesia’s vast ethnicities and the food they eat which were influenced by Chinese migrants, Hindu missionaries from India, and even European traders such as the Portuguese and Dutch to name a few. Ruston spent 17 years of his career in great culinary cities like Melbourne, Cambodia, Paris, Hong Kong, and Jakarta. The culmination of his International training and residences are reflected in MEJA’s latest concept. Fusing local and European cooking techniques to elevate Indonesia’s rich culinary cultures.

During these challenging times where many establishments have called it quits, we continue our commitment to provide an exciting dining experience in Bali. Our ethos is to provide an honest casual experience for our guests. It will be a pleasure to host you at MEJA where people gather and celebrate what it is to be alive through food, cocktails, and fine wines.

What we love: Satay Night, where you can pair your choice of satay with fine wine. Also their live band where you can sing along and enjoy your night away.
