Capella Ubudis the most luxurious camping opportunity for travelers in Indonesia. Located between Ubud’srainforest, rice paddy fields, and the sacred Wos River, this exclusive retreat will surely bring you an inner peace during your stay while also enjoying the adventure in the city of Ubud. Capella Ubud offers the most scenic view when staying in one of their luxurious tented retreats, where the celebrated architect Bill Bensleydoes the details in decoration beautifully.

Capella has a total of 22 one-bedroom tented rooms and one two-bedroom lodge that provides for your inner peace and mind. Each of these tents or lodge has its own swimming pool and are located privately away from prying eyes, making it the perfect choice for a romantic stay with your loved one. The bottom tents are positioned to have an amazing view across the river, jungle, and rice fields. With private salt-watered swimming pool on each property and large outdoor deck, create your own personal sanctuary when staying at Capella Ubud.

Each room or tent is also fully stocked with amenities that you can hope for. Private butler? Check. In-dining facilities? Check. Free international phone calls? Check! Capella Ubudis aiming to create a hassle-free holiday experience for their staying guests. And for dining options, you get to choose between two of the exquisite restaurants on the premises.

Mads Lange, which is the main dining room, has a wide variety in their cuisine. The main dishes consist of 4 different types, namely: From the Sea, From the Land, From the Wok, and From the Garden. From classic Australian pork loins to authentic Balinese dishes to fresh Italian pasta, Mads Lange has it all. Centrally located in the property, Mads Lange is set over three levels of dining spaces that overlook the Cistern rainforest pool. Open every day from breakfast to dinner, Mads Lange will surely take your taste buds on a journey of Indonesian spice trade as the name suggest.

The signature restaurant, named Api Jiwa, is an interactive Asian street food barbeque that brings theatrical experience to camp dining. Open for dinner only, the intimate 16-seat restaurant offers discerning guests an upbeat and interactive neck-to-tail experience in an alfresco jungle setting. The 10-course omakase-stylebarbecue will leave your tummy satisfied and happy. Omakasemeans “leave it to you” and it promotes creativity and freedom for the chef to create the foods that you would like to enjoy. For a place that is only open since last July, the long list of the waiting list is proof that Api Jiwais something that you shouldn’t miss if you were ever in Ubud.

The none other Culinary Director Matt McCoolhelms both of these restaurants. With experience from the world-famed Quay Restaurant in Sydney and Michelin starred kitchens, including Gordon Ramsay’s Maze in London, McCoolcapabilities to create dishes that are mind-blowing are definitely unquestionable.
