Marriott Initiated Yet Another Successful Round Of ‘Run To Give’ Charity Program

Marriott Worldwide Business Council Bali, a part of Marriott International, have just succesfully organized the sixth annual ‘Run to Give’ charity run in Bali.

Held on Saturday, 21st September 2019, prominent Marriott properties around the island come together in Peninsula Island ITDC Nusa Dua to raise funds for unfortunate families in Bali in support of Bali Children Foundation, with prestigious brands such as Aloft Bali Seminyak, Bvlgari Resort Bali, Courtyard by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua Resort, Courtyard by Marriott Bali Seminyak Resort, Element by Westin Bali Ubud, Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Kuta, Four Points by Sheraton Bali Seminyak, Four Points by Sheraton Bali, Ungasan, Fairfield by Marriott Bali Kuta Sunset Road, Fairfield by Marriott Bali Legian, The Laguna Resort & Spa, Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran, Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa, The Ritz-Carlton, Bali, Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort, Sheraton Senggigi Beach Resort, The St. Regis Bali Resort, The Stones – Legian, Bali,  W Bali – Seminyak, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali taking part in this noble cause.

Held in Peninsula Island ITDC Nusa Dua, the 5K run welcomes thousands of representative from Marriott associates and families to be part of this meaningful cause. The route aims to offer participants different perspectives of the local community they live and work in. . Since the event inaugurated in 2014, ‘Run to Give’ has become an integral part of the company’s tradition in cultivating a people-first environment that promotes associate well-being and drives its people to care for the communities where they do business.

Last year, “Run to Give” took place in 109 locations across Asia Pacific, which involved more than 10,500 associates from 546 properties with nearly 36,700 runners participating, raising over US$400,000 supporting non-profit partners, selected local charities across Asia Pacific as well as contributed towards Marriott disaster relief efforts. With a growing hotel footprint underpinned by the strength of its associates, Marriott International aims to continue creating a lasting positive impact on the local communities it serves, guided by its social impact and sustainability platform, Serve 360: Doing Good in Every Direction.
