Volunteering your time to support a cause you are passionate about is something you will never regret. It will enrich your life, familiarize you with your community, and connect you to people and ideas that will positively impact your perspective for the rest of your life.

On that note, Marriott International Indonesia announced a month-long series of fundraising events taking place from 1st October to 31st October 2020. Through “Marriott Indonesia Bersama Musical Fundraising Event” and “Virtual Run To Give 2020”, Marriott International Indonesia hopes to raise funds to support its associates and their families who have been impacted by the ongoing pandemic.

“Marriott Indonesia Bersama Musical Fundraising Event” and “Virtual Run To Give 2020″ is a collaborative effort by Marriott Indonesia Business Council and Marriott Disaster Relief Fund (MDRF), supported by, Yayasan Puteri Indonesia and in partnership with Kitabisa.com and Bali Children’s Foundation. Donations will be used to provide basic food supplies to affected associates throughout the archipelago,” said Arun Kumar, Chairman of the Indonesia Business Council and Managing Director of The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta.

Having the power to improve the lives of others is, to many people, a privilege, and one that comes with its sense of obligation. Acting on these powerful feelings of responsibility is a great way to reinforce our values and feel like we’re living in a way that is true to our own ethical beliefs. Let’s give our helping hands and make this world a better place.
