Open in 2005, the concept of Hanging Gardens of Bali was to create something magical and authentic in the heart of the Balinese jungle: an immersive experience in a natural tropical environment. With 700 local craftsmen using traditional materials and adapting indigenous ideas, the resort took shape in the heart of Ubud. A winding path of 88 steps leads from the reception to the restaurant; built with Feng Shui principles to mean infinity and stability of energy: an essential factor when building on a 45-degree angle. With 44 astonishing private villas to choose from The Hanging Gardens of Bali is a remarkable destination for creating the most unforgettable memories.

Today, with COVID 19 being part of the new normal, new protocol is ready and they are delighted to announce the official certification of New Era of Living in Bali stated on 21st September 2020 from the Bali Government.

The certification was carried out across all areas of the resort to ensure that Hanging Gardens of Bali has implemented cleanliness, health, safety, and environment based on the protocol standard to face the new normal era.

“To achieve this certificate, the management and team have shown true dedication and determination. They collaborated side by side and actively joined the new normal webinar of what needs to be implemented in their respective area. Not only front of the house area but also back of the house is implementing the protocol standard since health and safety of our guest and employee is our priority” says Ariek Mahardika the Director of Sales and Marketing of Hanging Gardens of Bali when asked about the certification.
