Tropicola: A New Beachfront Playground Opens August 11th

It wouldn't be the perfect summer without a brand new spot to kick it with your friends and lounge all day long under the hot scorching Bali sun. From the bright minds behind Bali's very own Motel Mexicola and Sydney's Bucket List on Bondi Beach, comes the newest and freshest beachfront playground, Tropicola Beach Club.

The multi-stage beach club is ready to transport you back to an 80s summertime fiesta with its clean lines, bright bold colors, cascading plants, and an amphitheater directed towards the beach, providing the golden panoramic line of the Seminyak beach. Experience the nostalgia of basking under the Miami sun, jumping into the pool at Palm Springs and swimming in the oceans of Tulum, all intertwined into one ultramodern beach club!

Kicking off the opening with a bang is Juan Ego, flown straight from the Yutacan peninsula in Mexico, to set you up on the right mood. The Argentinian Juan has been playing music for the biggest beach, villa and hotel parties since the 80s. Creative Director, James Brown, who also designed Motel Mexicola and Bucket List on Bondi Beach, had a vision of creating "an oasis laden with Bougainvillea" and a "paradise by the sea," thus Tropicola was born. Tropicola features three bars spread over multiple levels encompassing two pools.

Sunbathing by the pool wouldn't be complete without a cocktail or two in hand. That is where Beverage Director, Denny Deluca Del Paso, comes in and brightens your day with a selection of beverages perfectly curated for a hot summer's day. Tropicola's fruity, fresh and colorful drinks utilizes spices, herbs, and fruits available only in Indonesia that will certainly keep the crowd curious for more. To fulfill the cravings of the stomach, British born Chef Steve Skelly, has conveyed the experience of his travels and his extensive knowledge of the island into an oven and wood-fired grilled menu centered at the open kitchen concept. An additional treat for guests for sure!

Years in the planning, Tropicola launches Stage 1 with its beach club, soon to be followed over the next year with Stage 2 and 3 with the opening of a 60 seat restaurant, rooftop bar, event venue and completed by a 60 room hotel.

This coming Saturday, 11 August 2018, Tropicola Beach Club opens its doors to all starting from 11:00 am til midnight. Tell all your friends and family! Head on over to Tropicola Beach Club this Saturday for a fun-filled event!

PARADISO Summer Fest

Summer is here, that means the days of lounging by the pool with our poison of choice in hand will definitely be a weekly routine. Since we’re not one who would miss these kind of summer extracurriculars (and we just love you all too much), we then thought, “hey, why don’t we do one ourselves?” And so we will.

This July, hellobali presents our very own micro summertime party, PARADISO Summer Fest. Our first poolside musical fiesta will mark another collaboration with our favourite Canggu pool and lounge Cabina and the first (hopefully of many) with fashion icons The F Things. Aiming to spoil our loving community with an intimate and fun event where you can play and party with notable influencers from across Bali and Jakarta.

There will be free games, tattoo stickers and nail art booths, snacks and sweets served by Canggu and Seminyak’s hottest girls, a two-hour free flow by Nusa Cana, as well as a worthy performance by DJ Tripoo. Also, we did promise you that the event will be hosted by a chain of influencing cool people. From Amelia Bunjamin, Michelle Hendra, Melody Amadea, Riz Romauli, to Claudia Lambert and Melle Micheline among others!

Another noteworthy detail to keep you pumped up: you will get a chance to win a 20 million rupiahs worth of door prize as well! All you need to do is to sign up to hellobali.id, follow our Instagram account and download The F Thing’s mobile app. Make sure you mark your calendar for July 18th at Cabina, the door opens at 4pm and the party will go until late. Get the tickets at The F Thing's website, or contact Olin at +62 821 2383 1708.

OMNIA Bali Grand Opening Weekend

After finally opening their much awaited doors a couple of months ago (which was met with exuberant response from the local loungers and visiting party-goers), it’s just suitable that OMNIA Bali is to held a grand opening. Stretching on the last weekend of April, the headliners will surely light up the cliffs of Pecatu, because the club will be bringing in two international EDM sensations: Marshmello on the 27th, and Martin Garrix the following day!
