Nataraja Bali is a traditional school of YOGA under the guidance of well respected Indian Guru – Yoga Acharya Nilesh R. Tiwari. The name of the Shala is inspired by Nataraja, The dancing form of Shiva. Nataraja beautifully combines Shiva’s three roles as creator, preserver, and destroyer of the universe, with the arch of flames conveying the concept of a never-ending cycle of time.

Nataraja Yoga Shala believes in keeping perfect body health, peace of mind, and mental stability. Your health is your wealth. Ashtanga Yoga system is the most complete and methodical, and it teaches us step-by-step how to bring harmony to the body, mind and emotion. Their effort is to keep the valuable ancient and tradition alive, as well as to spread the message of yoga in a scientific and systematic manner.

The Ancient sages and Masters developed this integral system of yoga to keep the physical and mental faculties sharp. A simple program involving five main principles:

Proper exercise

Proper breathing

Proper relaxation

Proper diet

Positive thinking & meditation

The aim of these five main principles is to develop in the aspirants a state of perfect body health, peace of mind & mental stability, excellent intellectual clarity and higher spiritual knowledge. With awareness, a state where one is both useful to himself and mankind.

Nataraja welcomes with open arms to everyone who wants to do proper and authentic yoga. No need to worry if you’re a beginner, everyone will be treated the same, and either Nilesh or Yuli – the gurus – will guide and help you every step of the way. One of the best classes here is the Mysore Style Yoga. It is the Tradition training style as taught in Mysore, India. Independent practice according to student performance level. The teacher provides adjustment, support, correction and considers individual each student’s individual needs.

Other than that, they have Prana Shakti Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Shakti Spine Yoga, Vinyasa and Bandha, Ashtanga and Yin Yoga to choose from.

After your yoga class ends, you can also eat at their Ayurvedic (a system of medicine with historical roots in the Indian subcontinent) Restaurant called Vedic Kitchen. Vedic Kitchen serves you the best Indian Vegan food that is great for your health. And we recommend you to try their Tali of the day (Indian Nasi Campur) and Mango Lassi.
