We are now entering the 4th week of being home. Most of us are working from home, but that doesn’t mean we can not entertain ourselves with concerts and musics. Although big concerts like Coachella are being postponed to the end of the year (if, the situation got better), we have a list of concerts you can watch from your cozy couch!
Third Eye Blind, April 21
Third Eye Blind are performing live during their “Quarantine Kitchen Sessions” every Tuesday at varying times on the band’sInstagram account to promote social distancing. Said Stephan Jenkins: “We all need to be part of the solution and not the spread.”
Various Artists, April 22
The New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund will be hosting JERSEY 4 JERSEY 7 p.m. ET on Apple Music and AppleTV apps worldwide, on SiriusXM’s E Street Radio (currently free on the SiriusXM app) and carried on WABC Channel 7, WPVI 6ABC, WPIX, News12, NJTV and local radio outlets including 1010 WINS, WCBS 880, CBS-FM, WFAN, New York’s Country 94.7, Alt 92.3, Q104.3 and others. Halsey, Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, SZA, Charlie Puth, Saquon Barkley, Tony Bennett, Danny DeVito, Whoopi Goldberg, Chelsea Handler, Kelly Ripa, Jon Stewart and more will make appearances.

Dolly Parton will be reading for her “Goodnight With Dolly” series every Thursday at 7 p.m. EST on Facebook.
DMF, April 24-26:
Digital music festival Room Service kicks off , with performances by Yungblud, Channel Tres, Pink Sweat$, Chromeo, Zeds Dead, Borgore, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Gallant, Griz, Mt. Joy, Trevor Daniel, RAC, Jeremy Zucker, Shallou & more (full lineup here). Proceeds from the event will go directly to COVID-19 relief efforts, including Sweet Relief and Feeding America.

Various Artists, May 2:
Latin music stars Gloria and Emilio Estefan, Luis Fonsi, J Balvin, Diane Guerrero and Ana Brenda Contreras have teamed for Eva Longoria’s virtual Cinco de Mayo celebration. The virtual concert will stream live on Facebook Live, Youtube, Twitch, Twitter, iHeartLatino’s radio stations and websites, among other social media platforms, on May 5 at 2 p.m. PT. The event is free to watch but viewers will be encouraged to make donations.

Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman and Talinda Bennington announced 320 Festival, a one-of-a-kind festival aimed at changing the way we talk about mental health. The festival that was set to take place across the entire L.A. LIVE complex in May has been canceled in its current form. Instead, the festival will be going online. On May 8- 10, fans can tune in for free on Facebook Live, YouTube Live, and the KNEKT.TV Network on Roku and Apple TV to join the conversation through educational sessions, musical performances, workshops and more.
Jersey 4 Jersey
Bruce Springsteen has been sharing some of his most famous live concerts across his social channels but he’s also joining the line-up for this Jersey 4 Jersey fundraiser. The event will feature performances and appearances from a roster of NJ’s biggest artists and celebrities including Bruce Springsteen, Tony Bennett, SZA, Jon Bon Jovi, Halsey and Charlie Puth – all to raise funds in support of fighting the impact of Covid-19. It will be broadcast at 7pm (ET) on Wednesday 22nd April. It will be broadcast on Apple Music and AppleTV apps, worldwide, as well as a host of local radio stations and Sirius FM. Pink Floyd will be streaming full live concerts for free during lockdown. You can watch on the band’s YouTube channel and things get under way with a newly restored version of Pulse at 5pm (BST) on Friday 17th April.

After a successful first marathon virtual rave last month, Club Quarantäne will return for 38 hours, from 10pm (CEST) Friday April 24th until Sunday 12pm. You might need a few biscuits handy if you want to last the distance. Club Quarantäne is put on by various dance music industry players, including booking agencies, audio companies and YouTube as part of the #SaveOurScene campaign, led by Resident Advisor. The lineup features prerecorded dance music sets from Ben UFO, Jayda G, Beautiful Swimmers, FJAAK, Tijana T and plenty more.

Royal Albert Home
The Royal Albert Hall – yes, the Royal Albert Hall – is hosting a series of Royal Albert Home performances over the coming days and weeks, which will see “artists sharing their work from their homes to yours”. The free streaming programme already includes Rufus Wainwright, Peter Gregson, Brassed Off and many more, with the promise of more to be announced. You can also donate to the Hall to show your support.

Carl Cox’s Awesome Soundwave label has announced an online festival for Friday 25th April. The event will have a focus on live techno sets, and will feature Hannes Bieger, Mat Playford and Marc Romboy, as well as Carl Cox and co-label founder, Christopher Coe.

Free West End and Broadway musicals? Sounds good to us. Andrew Lloyd Webber will be streaming his musicals for free online in a new series entitled “The Shows Must Go On”. Shows are live on Fridays at 7pm and available for 48 hours, with a new show every week.

Rock Gods Metallica have launched a new concert series, #MetallicaMondays, which will see the band stream a complete Metallica live show on the group’s YouTube channel and on Facebook every week. They start at 8pm (EDT) every Friday.

Neil Young is keeping it in the family with his Fireside Sessions – his wife will be filming while he gives a live concert from his living room, presumably by the fire. It looks like his dogs could feature heavily, too. Young is promising a “down-home production, a few songs, a little time together”, which sounds good to us.
